The Britt Lloyd Band has shared
the stage with great bands such as:
Honeybrowne, Stoney Larue, Phil
Pritchett, One Light Town, Texas High
Life, Front Porch Texas, Jackson Parten,
Mark Sanders, Mike Ethan Messick, Randy
Rogers, Bleu Edmondson, Hog Legg Ellis,
Geoff Spahr, and Jordan Mycoskie & many
others (some cooler than others but not
in any particular order). They have
also played at great venues such as:
Hurricane Harry's, Texas Hall of Fame,
Fitzwilly's, 3rd Floor Cantina, Carney's
Pub, Shadow Canyon, The Firehouse
Saloon, Sidecar Pub, Flying Saucer,
Gordo's, Treff's & many more.
Built of solid sounds from the detailed
guitar and bass parts to the steady back
bone of experienced drums and
songwriting, is The Britt Lloyd Band.
This band was formed by Britt to
accompany his deep singer-songwriter
material and broaden the musical aspect
of his work. On the edge of a Rock N'
Roll / Texas Country routine, this band
will take you to a higher level of
appreciation for the music. From the
originals to the covers, this show is
mixed with influences from Lynyrd
Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and Tom Petty to
the works of modern day Texas Musicians
such as Jack Ingram, Cory Morrow and
Reckless Kelly. Giving everything their
all is what this band is about, and they
will continue doing so as long as they
possibly can. With a strong foundation
of friendship between band mates, and
the musical experience to carry them
through, you can bet on hearing from The
Britt Lloyd Band for a very long time.

Born in Sweetwater, TX, Britt was raised
on all types of music ranging from
Dwight Yoakam to Nirvana. Britt started
playing guitar at the age of 10 while
searching for friends at his new found
home of Ohio. He began writing songs
and crafted the art into a soothing pass
time. From heartache to head over heals,
he hits you with everything. From
slower beat relaxing songs to the
bang-your-head sounds you'll find at the
live shows, you'll find yourself caught
up in his driven, yet relaxed attitude
for everything he does.

Thomas Van Arsdale
(drums)

Born in Sterling City, TX, Thomas is the
back bone of this band. With great
experience and talent to go with it, any
band would be lucky to have a driving
force like him behind the set. He has
been on the stage with many big name
Texas Musicians such as Dub Miller
(Highway 6) and Seth James, and has a
wide variety of influences from country
to rock that shape his tremendous
skill. He keeps the band on track both
on and off the stage and keeps them
pointing in the right direction.
Chris Byrd
(bass, backup vocals)

Born in Nixon, TX, Chris is the kind of
bassist everyone wants, talented, smart,
focused and fun all rolled into one.
Learning at a young age from his father,
he toned his skills and worked hard to
become a fine bassist. His vocals are a
huge addition to the band and mix very
well with Britt's lead. Probably the
perfectionist of the band, he adds not
only his musical influence, but
song-shaping aspect to the works that
they produce.
